Setting Up Brand Guidelines
TonAIlity has two brand-related settings to help maintain consistency:
Brand Guidelines (PDF Upload)
Upload your brand guidelines document to help the AI understand your brand.
How to Upload
- Go to Settings → Brand Guidelines
- Click Upload PDF or drag and drop your file
- Wait for processing (we extract text from the PDF)
- Your brand information is saved automatically
What to Include
Upload a PDF that contains:
- Company overview and mission
- Tone of voice guidelines
- Key messaging and taglines
- Target audience descriptions
- Content do's and don'ts
How It's Used
When generating content, the AI references your brand guidelines to:
- Match your preferred tone and style
- Use appropriate terminology
- Stay consistent with your messaging
- Avoid off-brand language
Custom Branding (Image Overlays)
Configure how your logo and text appear on AI-generated images.
Accessing Custom Branding
- Go to Settings → Custom Branding
- Toggle the feature on/off
- Configure your preferences
Logo Settings
- Upload Logo: PNG format recommended for best quality
- Position: Choose a corner (top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right)
Headline Settings
Configure text overlays on images:
- Position: Top, center, or bottom of image
- Background: Toggle semi-transparent background for readability
- Font Size: Small, medium, or large
- Custom Color: Override the default color (optional)
Live Preview
As you adjust settings, the preview updates to show how your branding will look on generated images.
Best Practices
- Keep PDFs focused: Shorter, more focused brand guides work better than massive documents
- Update regularly: Re-upload if your brand guidelines change
- Test your logo: Ensure it looks good at the sizes used in social images
- Check contrast: Make sure headline text is readable against typical image backgrounds
